Hofius Chromebook Rollout

Hofius Chromebook Rollout

In case you missed our Chromebook Rollout last week, we are having a secondary Rollout in the Library during students’ Social Studies Period on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Our Klein ISD Secondary students will be getting brand new HP Chromebooks this year.  Before your student can pick up their new device, a $30 payment for Accidental Damage/Loss Protection (ADP) must be made, or, if you prefer, a $200 refundable deposit may be made, and an electronic acknowledgement of the terms and conditions of this ADP must be made.  If you pay for the $30 via School Cash On-line, you will be prompted to acknowledge this agreement prior to submitting your credit card charge.  If you are unable to logon to School Cash, you can bring the $30 cash payment with you – however, you will have to electronically sign the ADP form through the Annual Student Information Update (ASIU) through Skyward first, 24 hours ahead of time.  Please do not send your child in with the $30 in cash unless you have previously filled in the form with the ASIU.

*The new Chromebooks do not have styluses this year.
